For more than 30 years, I led a first-generation construction company, navigating economic cycles, managing complex projects, balancing budgets, creating jobs, and solving problems that required practical leadership every day. Along the way, I’ve also served as an educator, nonprofit leader, and community volunteer. Those experiences have reinforced what I’ve learned throughout my career: the strongest leaders listen first, adapt when challenges arise, build trust, and bring people together to solve problems.
I’m running for Nebraska Legislature because I believe our state deserves practical, principled leadership that focuses on results. I will bring the same collaborative, solutions-oriented approach that has guided my career to serve the people of District 10 and preserve the quality of life that makes Nebraska such a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.”
Legislative Priorities
Build a Stronger Economy
Create opportunities for businesses, workers, and families to thrive.
Strong communities begin with a strong economy. Having built and led a business
through changing economic conditions, I understand the challenges facing employers,
workers, and entrepreneurs. I will support policies that encourage innovation,
strengthen workforce development, reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens, and help
Nebraska remain a place where businesses grow, families prosper, and young people
choose to build their futures.
Lower Property Taxes
Stop Punishing People for owning a home
Property taxes have become one of the greatest financial challenges facing Nebraska
families, seniors, and employers. After spending three decades managing budgets and
making difficult financial decisions, I understand the importance of balancing budgets,
planning, and making responsible financial decisions. I will work to modernize
Nebraska’s tax system, demand responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, and
pursue meaningful property tax relief that protects both taxpayers and essential
services.
Protect Women and Girls
Ensure fair competition and safe spaces.
Women and girls deserve fairness, dignity, and safety. I support protecting fair
competition in women’s athletics and preserving private spaces designated for women
and girls. Nebraska can uphold these principles while treating every individual with
respect and ensuring opportunities remain fair for everyone.
Provide Safe Communities
Support law enforcement and public safety.
Safe communities provide the foundation for strong families, thriving neighborhoods,
and economic opportunity. I will support law enforcement and our first responders by
ensuring they have the resources, training, and support they need to serve and protect
our communities. I also believe public safety is strengthened through collaboration
among law enforcement, community leaders, and the citizens they serve.
Support Veterans & Military Families
Deliver the care, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
Our veterans and military families have earned our gratitude through their service and
sacrifice. My family understands the sacrifices and appreciate those who wear our
nation’s uniform. I will advocate for policies that honor veterans by ensuring they receive
the care, resources, and opportunities they have earned while supporting the families
who serve alongside them.
